Well Parliament is dissolved and yet again Copyright law has been pushed into the doldrums. Another review ignored again. After waiting patiently for Parliament to implement the recommendations for changes to copyright because of all the right noises from Vince Cable, it looks as though it will not be in the immediate future.

Admittedly there are more pressing matters but it seems as though the value and power of copyright is underestimated and classed as irrelevant yet again despite problems being apparent throughout the world. The iiNet case in Australia has been granted leave for an appeal against the ruling that customers should not be disconnected from the internet (similar to the powers to be given to ISP's which will be included in the Digital Economy Act).
